    What is a purlin machine?


    The integrated size interchangeable C Z purlin machine is a revolution in the steel structure industry's cost-saving projects.

    The C purlin machine is mainly composed of a steel un-coiler, a leveling device, a punching device, a roll forming section, a post-forming cutting device, a hydraulic station, a computer control system, etc. This purlin machine chooses automatic flying saw punching, and it is easy to operate. C purlin is mainly used as the main load-bearing structure of large and medium-sized industrial and civil buildings.


    The C purlin machine, also known as the C shape roll forming machine, is one of the many types of tile pressing machines and a basic type of tile pressing machine. Unlike the color steel sheet forming machine, it is hydraulic powered and has a large power, generally around 22KW, similar to a shearing and bending machine. The general control process is complex and mostly controlled by PLC.


    The C purlin machine process flow is: The steel strip is fed in from the tail of the equipment, and is pressed into C-shaped steel by various rollers and sent out from the head. In the traditional process, the steel C purlin needs to be manually cut to a fixed length after being pressed and formed, and then transported to the punching equipment to punch holes according to the size required by the customer. The production cannot be continuous, and the efficiency is not high.


    Steel C purlin is a highly efficient and economical cutting profile (others include cold-bent thin-walled steel, corrugated steel plates, etc.). Due to the reasonable cross-sectional shape, they can make steel more efficient and improve the cutting capacity. Unlike ordinary H-beam steel, the wings of H-beam steel are widened, and the inner and outer surfaces are usually parallel, which can be easily connected with high-strength screws and other components. Its size constitutes a reasonable series, and the models are complete, which is convenient for design and selection. C purlin machine, also known as C-shaped steel purlin machine, is one of the many types of tile pressing machines and a basic type of tile pressing machine. Unlike the pre-painted roof forming machine, it is hydraulically powered and has a large power, generally around 22KW, similar to shearing and bending machines. The general control process is complex and mostly controlled by PLC.


    C purlin machine is a single-roll forming unit with a set of rollers that can produce various specifications of C purlin finished products. The machine is mainly composed of a passive loading rack, a leveling device, a punching device, a post-forming cutting device, a hydraulic station, a computer control system, etc. Conventional steel C purlin machines  use hydraulic shutdown shearing, while fast steel C purlin machines can use automatic flying saw punching, which is easy to operate. The main use of metal C purlin machines is that the products can be used as the main load-bearing structure of large and medium-sized industrial and civil buildings.

     

    The molds used in C purlin machine equipment require an upper mold and six lower. First install the upper mold and a lower mold. The lower mold is directly installed on the hexagonal rotary table. The upper mold is installed on the bottom of the slide seat, and a pad of appropriate thickness is placed to ensure that the gap around the upper and lower molds is uniform after the upper and lower molds are closed, and the distance between the upper and lower molds is equal to the thickness of the required tile blank. Then take the upper mold as the standard, turn the workbench, and install the remaining five pairs of lower molds. After all the upper and lower molds are installed, the machine can be started to press tiles.

     

    C Purlin Machine Production Line Options:

    1. Add a length measuring device and a flying saw. When the pressing length reaches the set length, the flying saw will start to cut the profile automatically.

    2. A hydraulic punching device for punching side holes can be added. Four holes can be punched at the same time. The flying saw will cut from the middle, thus forming two side holes at the head and tail of two adjacent sections of C purlins.

    3. A device for punching middle holes can be added. During the strip pressing process, the middle holes can be punched according to the spacing set by the user. A maximum of 16 middle holes can be punched.

    4. For the requirement of punching double holes in the middle of the profile for the new C-shaped steel, the 4-hole punching die for the side holes is changed to a 2-hole die, and the program for punching side holes is modified so that the side hole punching equipment can punch double holes in the middle, and the hole spacing is set by the user. A maximum of 8 groups of double holes can be punched.
